Our Mission is focused on “teaching and practicing organic land care, water conservation, and other sustainable practices while creating community inclusion and equity for all.”
In order to deliver on this mission, Full Circle Earth has embarked on an ambitious strategic vision for this decade. The plan consists of five pillars, designed to provide the structure necessary to execute our projects and get things done. |
Pillar 1: At the heart of Full Circle Earth’s Strategic Plan is the construction of an Environmental Education Center which will greatly expand our capacity. This center will be a “living classroom” where members of the community can come and learn how to maintain their yards, gardens and public spaces without the use of chemical and synthetic pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers.
Pillar 2: Offering organic land care training to people with disabilities through a Vocational Training Program supports our goals to remove chemical pesticides and synthetic fertilizers from the environment while providing much needed potential employment opportunities to this population. Pillar 3: Our Community Education Programs are meant to offer community residents as well as professionals who maintain lawns and gardens for commercial properties forums to learn key principles of organic gardening. Included is “how-to” instruction on composting, organic fertilizing, plant selection and more. Pillar 4: Designed to promote a connection to the community and the environment in general, Full Circle Earth will continue to explore and offer Community Outreach and Engagement events in order to bring people together and share in the beauty and fidelity that our natural spaces offer. |
Pillar 5: To continue to make a positive impact in our communities, our Advocacy program focuses on researching and disseminating factual information about the chemicals in our environment, the impact on our climate, and the actions that each one of us can take to help save our planet. Our motto speaks to our intent: Save the Soil - Save the Planet! |
