Outside Greenhouse Projects
Deconstruct small wooden enclosure near entry door to greenhouse to then create beautiful garden beds: This enclosure was built just outside our greenhouse to weather proof our generator that was a requirement to have on site in order to raise large-mouth bass. We are transitioning to including only Coi fish in our systems, so will not need a back-up generator. Our goal is to transform this entry way into a beautiful native shade garden. Tasks will include:
Using drills and hammers, removing all screws from wood to completely deconstruct structure. Create a reuse pile of wood
Rake and prepare soil; add compost
Plant native shade plants for small garden on both sides of entry door (left and right)
Get our Garden Ready/Native Garden Planting: Herbs, perennial flowers
Tending to our gardens around the greenhouse will include raking, preparing soil using shovels and adding compost, following a garden plan to plant seeds and transplants, tubers, bulbs.
